It has been a good while since I’ve done a post about the endemic problem of word abuse. Probably the single most abused word in the English language is “ironic”. My friend over at SubtitledHell sent me this clip several weeks ago, which expresses the definition of irony better than I ever could (and believe me I tried–you would not believe how difficult it is to come up with actual examples of irony in action!).
