So I am very nearly done with my teacher training course. Only five hours of field work, some papers, and an online module stand between me and my alternative resident educator’s license. Once I have that, it will be once again time to job hunt. I hope THIS time around goes smoother than my previous job hunting endeavors. Meaning, I hope I can actually find a job, and I hope I can find one by next fall when I get booted off my parent’s health insurance.
Honestly though I feel optimistic. I’m looking forward to starting my career. You’ll notice I didn’t say starting my ‘life’. Your life doesn’t start when you start a career, or have a family or whatever things we all believe we need to make us happy. Not saying that those things can’t, but that they aren’t strictly necessary.
That being said, it will be nice to have a rewarding job and steady income, one which I’ve never had and the other that I haven’t had in a long time. I have a lot of plans and goals. Starting my teaching career is one of them and it will help me to reach the others.
I apologize that this post is brief and rambling, but I have a nasty headache and right at the moment I’d rather just laze around and watch some Netflix. I just thought I’d give you an update as to what I’ve been up to lately!
